Hi, Me and my wife are newly married and we think that she is going to become pregnant, its not confirmed as there are still 6 days in her period date. For some days she is feeling dizziness, sometimes fainting and from yesterday mild fever. She is taking iron pills for last two days. Should she continue taking iron pills
Welcome and thank you for posting your query on HCM. Iron pills do not cause fever, but it can cause tummy upset and change in bowel habits and color. The fainting and dizziness and fever may be due to a viral fever. If the fever persists, she should see a doctor. Iron is not required now, if she is not anemic. Best wishes, Dr. Noble Zachariah
