Do Vomiting, Diarrhea And Rapid Heart Rate Indicate Diverticulitis?
Yes, thank you...hi, I’m a 48 year old female...I just had a severe abdominal attack resulting in vomiting, diarrhea, poring sweat, and my heart was racing...not sure if it’s a diverticulitis attack...I was diagnosed with it a few year ago...I’m not feeling any better, still have stomach pain and nausea and heart is still racing...any ideas what could be causing this? Thank you
I really appreciate your concern, abdominal symptoms could be due to number of disease but the most common is colicky pain and it can be due to infection or without the infection. It can be due to renal colic and biliary colic, in both of these, stone condition is common. It may be associated with infections, like intestinal infection, protozoa infection. Overall, it depends upon the underlying cause of abdominal symptoms and the tests or investigations done. Last but not least, pretty common reason is functional disorders.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
