Does 8-10 Puss Cell Indicate UTI?

Hi. I would like to ask what does 8-10 plus cells mean? The nurse said that I was detected with Urinary Tract Infection. But, I never had that before. Neither I feel any symptoms of having it now. What seems to be the problem,doc? I really am worried right now.

You have 8-10 pus cells per hpf in urine examination.
It suggest urinary tract infection.
You should take antibiotics treatment.

Drugs like norfloxacin or levofloxacin or cefixime are commonly used to treat urinary tract infection. These all are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
