Does Acyclovir Help In Treating Bladder Infection?

will acyclovir help with an oncoming bladder infections, I know the symptoms, I had a few in the last year. I was prescribed cipro but naturally don t have any extra that i can take now. I want something to hold me over until i can get to doc in the morning. pls advise.
