General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These symptoms can be due to progression of Parkinson as hallucinations or psychiatric symptoms can be part of Parkinson's disease. He may need to be prescribed benzodiazepines and get a detailed psychiatric evaluation as well. Some psychiatric medicine can increase rigidity of Parkinson's disease so proper evaluation and management plan should be adjusted accordingly. Also, Ropinirole or other drugs may need to be added in his Parkinson's treatment plan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
