Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Amitriptyline can cause orthostatic hypotension as a CVS side effect.
Non-Benzodiazepine hypnotics such as Zolpidem Tartrate at bedtime is effective in older adults for insomnia with a low propensity for causing withdrawal, dependence, tolerance or clinical residual effect.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
