Does Armour Thyroid Cause Weight Gain?
i am taking armour thyroid for the past 7 months or so. I do not have any thyroid issue. it started out great and now i have gained about 10 pounds. does that have anything to do with this medicine and can i stop taking it for a couple months to see if my weight drops back down ?

As you are already taking thyroid tablets for hypothyroidism. This condition is known to cause weight gain.
I would say, taking this tablet regularly will not cause you to gain weight atleast due to thyroid reasons.
If you stop taking this tablet, you might start getting other symptoms of hypothyroidism which is not advisable.
You might be having some dietary modifications or decrease body activity which is causing weight gain.
Another cause can be inadequate dosage of medication. Kindly get your thyroid profile checked again and consult your doctor to see whether the dosage of medication is enough for you or not adequate.
