Does Azithromycin Cause Burning Sensation On The Tongue?

My son was given Azithromycin 3/4 tsp and he acts like it burns his tongue. He will not swollow it and freaks out so bad as soon as we try to give it to hi. About 2-5 minutes into what little he did swallow he ia throwing it up. We even make him eat really good before

* Azithromycin is not giving burning sensation in tongue , but it is the
bitterness of the drug molecule which is making the child to throw .
* Should require to change the molecule with pediatrician with less / no
bitter taste syrup .
