Does Clindamycin Cause Headache?

I did not have any headaches when I started the Clindamycin now I have been on it a week 3 times a day and I am getting throbbing headaches. I can get relief with Tylenol ,but then the headache comes back within 2 hours. I know it says it is a mild side effect ,but it does not feel minor to me. Should I continue taking this medicine and of course it is a weekend so I am not sure what to do until Monday morning.?

Hi,

Thanks for using HealthcareMagic
Headaches are a possible side effect of clinamycin and the intensity can vary from one person to the next.
If you have no previous history of headaches, then other causes would also need to be ruled out as well.
It would be best to see your doctor as soon as possible for an assessment which would include physical examination and possibly imaging.

I hope this helps

Take Care
