Does Clonazapem Intake Cause Any Health Complication?

I was taking care of my terminally ill dad and he was taking clonazepam. After he died I thought I had emptied his pill boxes and filled the boxes with my own medications. I didn t see the small pills still in there. I thought the clonazapem was my atenelol. It totally made me sleep all through the day and was unsteady on my feet. I have put the meds in cat poop and into the trash. Is there anything I should worry about?

HI
Thanks for posting your query to HCM .

There is nothing to be worried as such . You have taken only few tablets that's all and because Clonazepam is a sedative you are feeling it's effect which will wear off after few hours .

But my concern is if you had taken Clonazepam thinking it as Atenelol then you would have missed Atenelol . Missing even one dose of Atenelol can shoot up your BP . So kindly get your BP checked and take your BP medications .
