Does Cordran Cause Dizziness?

I have been using Cordran tape for the last week or so. Can Cordran tape cause dizziness. Although I have always experienced dizziness while bending down over the past few years, today it seemed to stay with me on and off, after working in the yard. I am a 64 yr. old male with high blood pressure.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cordran tape is not associated to any of the symptoms you refer, however I think that the dizziness you are referring may very possibly be related to your blood pressure. Please see your doctor about this as there might be other reasons for the dizziness, besides blood pressure. In the mean time make sure you are not at risk of a fall by avoiding abrupt movements or staying close to object of support.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
