Does Cortisone Interact With Orencia?

I have tried all type of biologics and none of them have worked. The last 2 orencia and actemra were given by iv. I am allergic to predizone and all cortisone shot. I have had carpol tunnel trigger finger surgery on both hands and have swelling on the tops of my wrists. What do I do next?

Cannot say in your particular case. Anyone taking biologics for an immune condition is likely to have swelling from the inflammation of their immune condition. Also, surgery will cause both inflammation with swelling (goes away in a few days, and positioning and aspirin like drugs and warmth are used, not steroids for this) and also swelling due to disruption of the tissues circulation--this doesn't necessarily end and positioning/elevation is about the only treatment.

Allergic reactions have swelling. Generally this is brought down in a couple days by steroids. Not applicable here, benadryl is far weaker. Elevation and warmth also are effective for swelling.
