Does Crestor Cause Severe Fatigue, Muscle Pain And Loss Of Balance?

I took crestor 10 mg for 4 wks. I experienced severe fatigue, muscle pain, loss of balance, pain in the bottom of my feet, inability to fall asleep and stay asleep. This all ocurred after starting crestor. I read the webMD article about benefits outweighing riskd with statins. I was taken off crestor by my doctor. Fifteen years ago I developed fybro myalgia after taking another statin. What can I do now?

Hello,
Statins are known to cause myalgias and hepatotoxicity in some individuals.
Severe reactions like myopathy and rhabdomylosis are encountered rarely.
in case statins doesn't suit you,then you can take EZETIMIBE which acts locally in intestine and prevents absorption of dietary and biliary cholesterol.
It would not cause the problems as you encountered with statins.
