Does Diflucan Has Any Effect On Oral Contraceptives?
Hi, ive been treated for a recurring candida for the past 4 months taking diflucan once per month and taking vaginal probiotics at the same time. Im on oral contraceptives but lately I have been feeling rather strange, stomach cramps everyday, loss of appetite, thirst and craving salty food but cannot even finish a small portion of food. Diflucan is an antibiotic, is it possible that this might have affected the effectiveness of my oral contraceptives? Could I possibly be pregnant?

Hi, I have read your query and according to my opinion difulcan is an antifungal drug so it will increase the serum level of contraceptive pill so don't worry about pregnancy.But above symptoms that you are feeling are may be due to increase serum level or acid peptic disease.
