Does Enbrel Cause Red Rashes On Different Parts Of The Body?
I have been diagnosed with AS a form of rheumatoid arthritis, I have injecting myself 1 time a week with Embrel for the past 10 weeks, in the last 3 - 4 weeks I have noticed a red blotchy/blister type rash on my legs, thighs, arms, face and my scalp has bumps on it aswell, after a period they form a silvery type scale on them, I have never suffered from any type of skin rash. my question is has the Embrel caused a psoriasis type rash side effect?
Yes, it is a side effect of embrel. Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including a rash on nose and cheeks (butterfly rash), dizziness, extreme fatigue, looking pale, hair loss, swelling of the arms/legs, unusual bruising/bleeding, severe headache, mental/mood changes, seizures, unexplained muscle weakness or numbness.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
