Does Janumet Cause Gastrointestinal Problems When Taken At Meal Time?

Trying to figure out if my gut problems are medicine related. Have discontinued Dapsone for a eek and no difference. Next I was going to try Janumet to see if that is it but thinking about it it is short acting and if it was causing the problem it should get worse when i take it at meals correct?
