Does Lamictal Interact Zonegran And Vimpat?

I began taking Vimpat about a month ago. While increasing the dosage weekly my dosage of Lamictal is being decreased until I m no longer taking Lamictal. The drugs that I ll be taking then for simple partial seizures will be Vimpat and Zonegran. I ve noticed lately that my memory has been off, much more than usual. Speech is tongue tied at times. Could this be the Vimpat? I m taking 400 MG a day. I m a 63 year old male.

Yes, Vimpat can be expected to cause such adverse effects. However, most of these are reduced with time and regular use.
