Does Levothyroxine, Simvastatin Or Slo-Niacin Cause Chest Pain?

For the past 3 weeks my husband has experienced a dull pain, lasting 7 seconds a couple of times a day just above his heart. After visiting his primary care doc, emergency room for tests--EKG, chest x-ray, blood work, which were all clear, he has been advised to see a cardiologist, which we will do. Wondering if could be a side affect of Levothyroxine, Simvastatin or Slo Niacin which he has been taking for years.

This is not a known side effect of these medications though persons can react differently to medications.

Chest pain can be due to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards- skin, nerves (neuropathic pain), muscles and ligaments, bones, esophagus, heart, lungs.
