Does Lisinopril Overdose Cause Any Side Effects?

i do not know for sure if I tooi 4 lisinpril hctz because i usually take meds in the morning, My question would there be a problem if i took 2 this morning and 2 this night. I have been with a sick grandchild and didnt take time to take every pill. I know I took the lisenpril this am but i dont remember taking 2 more this pm. If i did could there be a problem

Thanks for raising your concern

1. The most common/immediate side effect from overdosing on lisinopril+ hydrochlorothiaze is a drop in blood pressure, which can cause fainting, dizziness or extreme weakness, thirst,dry mouth so check with a doctor regarding your vitals [blood pressure/pulse & heart rate]

2. As lisnopril contains potassium thus check with potassium level to exclude hyperkalemia and as hydrocholorothiazide causes sugar and uric acid abnormalities, check with the same

3. To be on the safer side seek emergency medical help or call your doctor for medical advice.
