Does Losartan Cause Cough?

i dont have any money right now and i never haVE ANSWER FROM MY OWN DOCTORS / WILL TH LOSARTAN CAUSE ANY COUGHING? IVE COPD AND MY DOCTORS CLOSE MOUTHED ABOUT IT AND MY COUGH HAS CHANGE SOME SINCE THIS MEDICATION . COULD YOU PLEASE JUST GIVE A YES OR NO. I CAN EVEN PAY SOME TOMORROW JUST NOT NOW.

Dear Sir/Mam,
i totally understand your concerns about your cough and your financial issue.
The quick answer to your questions is definitely YES.
Cough is a known side effect of Losartan.
The only tricking condition in your case is COPD. However since you noticed a change in your cough after starting Losartan than the most likely answer to your case is that Losartan is making your cough worse. it should be stopped and you must be switched to another medication from another class of anti-hypertensives.
However it is also recommended that you monitor your temperature because this might be due to an exacerbation of COPD instead of a side effect of the medication. If that does not apply to you then the medication must be discontinued.
