Does Meloxicam Interfere With Diabetic Medication?
I was perscribed Meloxicam tablets by my doctor and when I got the medicine I seen all the side effects. My doctors know that I am on a thyroid med., diabities meds., (metforman), and also on lasiks. Is this medicine really that bad with side effects? I have not taken it yet kind of scared. What do I do?

Hi! To my knowledge, meloxicam does not interfere with metformin or thyroid medicine. Since you also use lasix, I would suggest that you be careful when using meloxicam. You may need dose adjustments in order to safely take both these medications together. I would recommend that you regularly monitor your blood pressure and drink plenty of water when using lasix and meloxicam together.
