Hello You are prescribed meprate i.e. MEDROXYPROGESTERONE 10 mg twice in day for 3 months. The side effects of meprate are as following. Depression , fluid retention, fatigue, insomnia, dizziness, headache, nausea, BREAST TENDERNESS , weight gain/loss, anorexia, cholestatic jaundice. You are having chocolate cyst and medroxyprogesterone is indicated for menorrhagia Mild to moderate endometriosis breast cancer, secondary amenorrhea . Breast cancer , palliative treatment for endometrial carcinoma. So you can take this drug for one month more . In my opinion get in ultrasound of both ovaries and find out the exact nature of type of cyst. Consult one more gynecologist and get his opinion about this cyst. Good luck.
