I have 6 herniated discs ( 5 thoracic and now 1 cervical ) the injury was sustained 17 years ago with multiple bulging discs from my neck to my butt and have recently been informed that I have degenerative disc disease. I was taking Methadone (40mgs 3 x daily) as well as Norco and muscle relaxers for 15 years but have stopped taking the narcotics 5 months ago. I have no desire to go back to the Methadone, I hated every minute of those 15 years, but have just been running out of options. Have you any suggestions? I ve been looking into Interventional Pain mngt. but it seems mostly related to cancer pain, etc. and not seemingly related to my situation. I have had the injections under flouroscopy 6 times and it does nothing for me.
