Does Nitrofurantoin Mono- MCR Possess Any Impact During Pregnancy?

I just got prescribed (Macrobid) Nitrofurantoin mono- MCR and I m assuming the 100+ at the end stands for 100 mg. I m 33 weeks pregnant, and ended up with a UTI, so this is what my OB-GYN prescribed me. I have never taken this before, and was trying to read reviews online about this product but there are just too many mixed comments. I myself have been experiencing stomach pain, but i read on the paper that comes with the prescription, upset stomach and nausea are common side effects. Yes I have already informed my Dr about this and she told me it would be fine, cuz its just a common side effect. My worry is, will this effect my pregnancy in any way, or my unborn child directly?
