Does Opiate, Cause Side Effects Like Insomnia And Anxiety?

I m 6 days into opiate withdrawal. All acute symptoms are obviously over. All that remains is insomnia and extreme anxiety. I also have ed and burning urination. The libido is back but I remain flaccid. Is this a side effect of the opiates leaving my system or something else more serious.

Dear friend, you did not specified the name of opiate and the duration of intake and the reason (?addiction/?pain control). So it becomes bit difficult to assess the situation clearly.Insomnia and anxiety are common withdrawal features, whereas burning urination is not common.ED may happen but rare.I would suggest you to take Tab.Chlordiazepoxide 10mg start twice daily(after lunch and after dinner) then plan to taper it gradually.By the way, do you smoke/ alcoholic and how old are you? Please give me the history in details. They all are linked to ED.Wish you get well soon.
