Does Ovigyn DSR Have A Substitute Which Is Less Expensive?

Hi, My self Hiten Jariwala. My wife name is Megha Jariwala. She had period problem so dr suggest her to take ovigyn dsr 75 mg tables for 3 months. My questions is, can u prescribe another substitute for this because it is too costly. Plz reply soon. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes, less expensive substitutes are available. Ovigyn-DSR contains micronized dehydroepiandrosterone and is commonly prescribed for the treatment of female infertility.

It is also available in other brand formulations such as Ovaflo SR-75 or Ovatop-75 which are equally effective but less expensive as compared to Ovigyn-DSR. I advise to you to consult your doctor if you wish to switch over to other substitutes.
