Does Oxycodone Interact With Antidepressants?

What interactions are possible in a person taking Oxycodone and a mild antidepressant during the day and then two somas & ambien at night? The pain relievers are prescribed because of an extremely compromised group of cervical and thoracic vertebrae which the neurosurgeon considers inoperable.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that with the use of the pain medication (oxycodone) along with the sleep aid, muscle relaxant and anti depressants that you would have increased sedation, dizziness and confusion.

These would be the main possible interactions.

If you are not experiencing any of these effects that you may be able to continue the combination.

I hope this helps
