Does Percoset Cause Kidney Or Liver Complications ?
I am a healthy adult and had a complete physical last August and all Blood work came back normal. I am 54 years old and have been on Percoset 5-325 for a year and Tramadol before that... I do not take more than 3 per day but I have noticed my lower back in the Kidney area is sore. I was wondering about Kidney and Liver complications
Sorry to hear about this sore back. Though this medication contains paracetamol which is known to be able to cause some liver damage, the minute dose you take daily ay nor readily explain this. I will suggest that you rather get consulted to identify the cause of your symptoms and managed accordingly as this would be unlikely to have been caused by this medication. A general and family physician would make good persons to start with and get referrals if need be.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information if need be. Dr. Ditah, MD.
