HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Weight gain is a possible side effect of methotrexate. It is one of the common side effect so it is possible that it may be having this effect on you.

Weight gain can occur in different ways-(1) increase appetite
(2)decrease energy and activity levels
(3)decrease satiety/fullness
(4)decrease metabolism

I hope this helps
