Does Tegretol Cause Swelling Of Lymph Nodes?
Hi, Recently I ve been on Tegretol for my epilepsy and I ve had many bad reactions, but for the past few days I ve had swollen lymph nodes, they re painful, and I m pretty sure they re related to the Tegretol. I have a doctor s appointment soon, but I was wondering how severe this side effect is?

Tegretol can very rarely be associated with enlargement of lymph nodes.
The lymph nodes tend to enlarge due to inflammatory or infectious response though they can increase otherwise as well due to more serious causes.
The severity would need to determined by examination and blood tests to take a look at the full blood count (would check white cell count particularly).
