Does Trapic MF Have Side Effects While Treating Continuous Bleeding During Period?
Hi doctor, For the past i had periods, bleeding was very high and continued for long one of my doctor suggested to take trapic mf,the day when periods started 2 tablets in the morning,2 tablets in the afternoon and 2 in the night ,can I use that tablets??? Does it have any side effects??? I m getting vomiting sensation ,can I use that tablets or not?????
Tapic mf contains Tranexamic acid and mefenamic acid. It is used as an analgesic, pain during periods, blood clotting problems and heavy menstrual bleeding. So you can very conveniently use it. These two components are not known to cause nausea as a very frequent side effect.
However, if you feel nauseated, try an anti-emetic to get rid of nausea. Antacid in combination will also help.
Side -effects include: Abdominal Pain, Abnormal dark colored stools, allergic skin reaction, blood vessel obstruction by blood clots, blurred vision and constipation.
Hope it helps, Will be available for follow-up queries,
Regards, Dr.Pallavi Jain
