Does Vicodin Cause Chronic Diarrhea?

I have had diarrhea for more than five days. I have taken Immodium twice - today and two days ago. I take Vicodin for chronic pain and I wonder if that has anything to do with the diarrhea. In addition, I also drink alcohol on a daily basis - two or three drinks a day. I seldom get drunk, but I do drink.

Usually vicodin can cause constipation.
Diarrhea is not a common symptom of Vicodin.
I suggest you to take probiotics daily and continue using Imodium.
