Does Zanax Cause Tightening Of Scrotum?

Hi for the last 5 or so hours my scrotum has been tight. As if I just got out of cold water. About an hour ago they started to be somewhat painful. During the time it took for the nurse to call me back they started to drop and they aren t hurting. Could this be stress related because I was up alright working on a school project and my classmates gave some kind of add med saying it would help me focus but instead it just gave me anxiety and made me wanna crawl out of my skin. I m prescribed zanax and just took one because I m trembling and possibly hoping there is a correlation! Thank you!!!

Detail: xanax is an anti-anxiety drug. It does not cause any side effects of the sort which you have mentioned.
The probable reason for your problem would be stress or the additional medication which your friends suggested.
I dont think there is a need to worry as there is no pain. However if the pain develops, you must visit a general surgeon to rule out a testicular disease.
