Does Zeptol And Cloba Affect Sperm Count And Fertility?

Hello sir, my husband is taking zeptol cr300 and cloba 20 for almost 3 yrs now and erlier had taken anti epiliptic drugs like zenoxa, frusium 10 ... Has this effected his sperm count and fertility .. We are planing to start a family but worried that has these medicines affected his fertility. Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Zeptol (Carbamazepine),Cloba 20/frusium 10 (Clobazam),Zenoxa (Oxcarbazepine) are antiepileptic rugs.
Carbamazepine can cause impotence.
Some patients taking Oxcarbazepine reported a sensation of urinary incontinence without cause after taking the drug. However none of these medicines are known to affect fertility.
