Does A Head Injury Lump Need Looking Into?

hello :) my son is 3 years old. he was running in the kitchen and hit his head on the corner of the table, very sharp. it left a bump. that was about a month and a half ago. the lump is still partially there. and sometimes he said it hurts. if i took him to the hospital would they run a cat scan without a doctors request? or an xray?

You need to show it to doctor as the history of bump is 1 and half month ago. The swelling should have been resolved till date. I think doctor needs to examine first and then he may further do imaging.
