Does A Higher Cymbalta Dosage Cause Vomiting And Sickness?

My dr had me increase my dose of cymbalta from 60 to 120 mg. I took it thur night and on the way to work got so sick I had to jump out and throw up. I was sick until about three pm. If it was due to the cymbalta would I have recovered and felt better later in the day?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the cymbalta would have caused you to feel unwell.

This category of drug can be associated with gastrointestinal upset. Normally this would occur in the first 2 to 3 weeks of using the medication or increasing the dose.
It would not likely be a long term effect.

I hope this helps
