Does A Pale Stool Need Looking Into?

I am female aged 69 and have been taking simvastatin (at night) for approximately two years. My stool has recently been looking pale. Should I speak to my general practitioner about this? My cholesterol levels are good and my blood pressure is normal.

You have problem of pale stool that may be because of biliary system problem.

Lack of bile salt cause change a stool color.
Liver problem may cause pale stool.
Gallbladder or pancrease problem may cause this type of symptoms.
