Does A Torn Muscle In The Leg Need Medical Attention?

Hi i have torn the front left driver muscle in my leg. Should i go to the hospital or will it heal with rest? The injury happened Tuesday and i thought i was good to play cricket yesterday and i have ended up making it worse. I say its torn because iv had a lot of injuries in my life and iv never felt anything as painful in comparison to other strains or sprains iv ever had
