Does A Tumour On The Vulva Signify Cancer?

Got a mass on the vulva. Inoa due to theythink a yeast infection, which I have not had in 46 years, and out of the blue now I do. Went to the Dr and they are using diflucan and a sulfa drug since I have UTI. Now. This place on the inside next to the urethra really hurts, I was concerned it could be cancerous. Please advise.

Hi,

It is mostly a Bartholin's cyst. It needs to be removed. Nothing to worry about, it is a simple procedure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
