Does An Unresolved Painful Swelling Foot After A Fall Require Specialist Opinion?

I fell down the stairs couple of weeks ago and my foot is still swollen. Had Xrays in A&E and was told I had no broken bones. The pain is on the top of my foot where I badly scraped it as I was sliding down the steps, I have pain in my calf and thigh: it is as if I am tearing something inside (pulling pains) when I move the leg. Should I go to a specialist?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
If rest for 3 weeks and medicines have not relieved, opinion with specialist for muscle and ligament injury is necessary.Re-assessment with 2nd xray maybe needed for foot or other areas,if foundon clinical examination.Treatment follows after re-assessment.
