Does Anoxic Ill In Cause Side Effects?

Why does the back of my tongue hurt when I swollow ? I took amoxicillin 500 for a sinus infection and soon after my last pll the base of my tongue started hurting when I swollow. Not sure if it s a side affect from the medicine or not. I also had a cough that maybe irritated it.

The back of the tongue might be hurting due to enlarged tonsils. I would recommend you to finish the whole course of Amoxicillin.
Apart from that avoid extremely cold food for few days. Hot water gargles will help in reducing pain. If the pain is severe consult an otorhinolaryngologist (ENT) for a complete examination of the throat.
