Does Antispasmodic Tablets Cause Any Side Effects?

I have stomach problems since my childhood. I do have constipation, but constant pain in upper abdomen and gas formation. I feel like eating but the gastric trouble stops me there. I am allergic to wind, cold and milk products. At the age of 47 I am still underweight. Common antispasmodic tablets help me but I am not sure about their side effects. Please advise me.
