Does Anxiety Cause Nausea And Vomiting?

Hello,
My son, who is 12, has been suffering from what I think is anxiety. He feels nauseous and vomits occasionally. This has been going on for the past several days. He does not seem to be getting better. We do not have insurance so, I haven't taken him in to our family doctor. He says he is not worried about anything right now, but the effects have not subsided. Any suggestions?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Anxiety do cause nausea and vomiting in some cases and that never happen continuously. As per your description your son is having this nausea and vomiting for a week or so. I think you should talk to your son or understand your son's condition through his friends. Your son should be taken to a physician for consultation and proper diagnosis.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
