Does Bearing Down Feeling In Anus And Blood In Stools Mean Hemorrhoids?

I m a 42 year old woman. Three days ago, after a bowel movement (and sitting on the toilet for awhile after) I noticed the feeling inside my anus that made me feel like bearing down. Something felt like it was there that hadn t been. There was no pain. No itching. Thinking it might be a hemmorhoid, I applied Prep H. The next 2 days it felt less. Better. Today I had a little blood when wiping after my bowel movement. Still no pain. No itching. Does this sound like hemorrhoid symptoms?

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). Most common cause of painless bleed per rectum is hemorrhoids. But still I will advise you to visit a Gastroenterologist who will do colonoscopy to rule out any other cause.
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
