Does Bio Oil Cause Pink Eye In A Child?

Hello. My daughter is 4 and I put Bio oil in her bath water on Wednesday night as she had very dry skin. She was amusing herself by putting her head in the water with her eyes open and I never thought anything of it. On Friday morning she woke up with pink eye and has been really suffering this weekend. We are applying a collyrium in the eye but I am worried that the two incidents might be related...should I be concerned? Thanks in advance for your answer :-)

hi dear ,
yes these could be related
1 it could be an allergic reaction or

2 it could be infection from contaminated water
both to be differentiated by amount of stickiness in eyes if excessive its infectious

both needs to be treated though allergy may go on its own if mild

hope she will recover soon
