Does Bladder Dysfunction Cause A UTI And Painful Urination?

my husband had long TURP operation two weeks ago, he has a urine infection and still some severe pain passing water and sometimes cant go, also gets constipated, he is on antibiotics, ha keeps waking up with a very hard erection--- is that syptom of his bladder not working properly?

* As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests inflammation at the operation site which is prostate fossa, not necessarily bladder weakness.

* In our clinic, we recommend urinary antibiotic as per the culture sensitivity, hydration care, erection management with low dose sedatives.
