Hello,

Blood in Stool sample may be due to hemorrhoid or fissure or fistulas or colitis or polyps or infection. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your surgeon he will examine the rectum through Proctoscope and colon through colonoscopy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
