Does Brown Vaginal Spotting While On Birth Control Pill Indicate Pregnancy?
Hi, I am on birth control pills it s been about a year maybe a little more. I normally have pretty heavy periods the first couple days than its more manageable. I had sex 3 weeks ago. My period was supposed to start on Friday, but all its been is a little bit of brown spotting. Could I be pregnant?
Though it may seem like that but occasional brown spotting while on birth control pills doesn't necessarily indicate conception.
There is no need to get stress by apprehending something unsuitable. Excluding the pregnancy is very simple. Pl. go and get pregnancy test done. Even if doesn't come out +ve first time, 2nd test is advised.
Birth control medicine work on the principles of withdrawal bleeding. Due to insuffient levels of hormones sometimes in blood, withdrawal bleeding may be hampered. Again the reason of insufficient hormone levels may be due to malabsorption of medicine or other reasons.
No need to worry until pregnancy is established. Even if so, your doctor may well advise you how to manage that. So do not delay and get pregnancy test done.
Hope it helps you. May I be of any more help pl. ?
