Possible causes are gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with aspiration or panic episodes or episodic asthma. Until the examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Have you suffered from any allergy? Have you suffered from gastric pain or stomach pain? During the episode, do you feel palpitations or chest pain? Avoid spicy food and caffeinated drinks.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
