Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Risk of aspiration ad choking is definitely there in GERD of high grade.
Apart fro medication i would advise you the following

1. Make her sleep inlateral position with head elevated by placing small pillow under shoulder
2. Burp well after feeds
3. Do not make the baby sleep in prone position.

As the bay is only 1 month, GERD symtoms will definitely improve over period of time.
